The role As a Technical Product Manager you will be driving success of our central data platform, be accountable for the overall success and performance of the product. In this role you will have a focus on data management to engage with clients and ensure the delivery of data-related requests through our owned data platform. This role will play a critical part in building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring seamless communication between them and the data team. In this role you are responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including - gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, making sure your priorities are in alignment with other product initiatives that rely on the product you own, you’ll be the one working on the product vision alongside engineering lead across different regions, to ensure effective delivery of business goals and objectives. Key responsibilities: Gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's experience, identifying and filling technical product gaps slowing down market success, whilst generating new ideas to grow adoption, improve customer experience, and quality of the products we deliver Understand consumption patterns and user journeys in context of product usage Analyse key data to identify issues and discover opportunities to improve the product Explore customer and business needs and feedback, review and analyse various options, and together with engineering prototype solution options to enable early validation Motivate and inspire the product team and stakeholders to champion the product vision, goals, strategy, and technical solution approaches take Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners Knowledge skills and experience: Strong technical background, with an understanding of data management and data-related technologies, and the ability to drive engineering and architecture discussions Demonstrable experience of delivering as Product Manager, 0-1, going through the full product lifecycle Able to manage and evolve the current data platform, working closely with development teams to build new platforms and features Understanding of Data Analytics, BI, Machine Learning, Data Science Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills and embrace new technologies in a constantly changing environment Thoroughness and attention to detail, with a goal and outcome-oriented approach. The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality solutions A problem-solving mindset, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and to direct others’ work Experience interpreting feedback from various stakeholders and evaluating the performance of services, platform, or processes Strong experience in client engagement and relationship management, with excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
