We also carry out commissioned work for national titles.The reporter would get out from behind their desk, speak to real people face-to-face and on the phone. They also utilise digital tools and social media to source and verify stories.The role:Successful candidate will have the flexibility of working from home. A driving license and car is useful but not essential.An NCTJ qualification or similar along with shorthand is the minimum for a trainee.A junior reporter would also have this but also some experience on a local title, website or equivalent.Social media skills are a must.
