Trainee Shift Manager - McDonaldsLocation: Roadchef, M6 Southbound, Killington Lake, LA8 0NWFull timeDavid, our site director at Killington Lake Services Kirk, is looking for a new Trainee Shift Manager to join his McDonalds team.Being a Shift Manager means you are the face of our McDonald’s unit and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times. We will provide you with excellent on-job training and support to carry out the role effectively. Training will include how to deliver excellent customer service, the highest standard of food, how to achieve operational brand standards, leading your team while supporting the Management team and all elements of health and food safety proceduresExperience:Creating a welcoming environment.Confidence in dealing with customer queries effectively and professionally.Some supervisory experienceLeading a teamOnce trained your responsibilities as a Shift Manager will include:Managing shifts to consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness.Take accountability of business results, KPI’s and promotions.Attend and participate in weekly managers’ meetings.Complete, verify and monitor food safety procedures during the shift.Maintain stock levels, ensure accurate orders are placed, in addition to the quality and condition of products.Managed completion of planned maintenance and cleaning tasks.Encourage customer feedback, and respond to customer complaints confidently and follow the customer recovery process.Create a positive, dynamic and energised working environment.Manage rota’s, and ensure labour controls are in place.Ensure the best service is delivered to our customers every time.You will also receive:Hourly pay rate £12.10Free parking£1 meals while on dutyEmployee discounts across our Sites and BrandsCareer developments opportunitiesWell being supportEarly access to your salary via Wagestream if requiredWho we are:Roadchef Motorway Services, are proud holders of the Platinum- Investors in People status and recognised as one of the top 25 Best Big Companies to work for 2022 with a 2 star accreditation.
