Smash Sports Limited, a sports goods distibution company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Sunbury on Thames.You will be working in a modern, clean, organised warehouse, with light weight sporting goods for both shipments in bulk to resellers and smaller orders going direct to members of the public.The role is part time Monday to Friday on a permanent basis, and we are looking for someone to work roughly 4 hours per day, and ideally in the morning. There will be some flexibility on times and number of hours to help facilitate the recruitment of the right person.A successful candidate will be able to perform routine tasks in the warehouse and work as part of a team in order to ensure customer orders are complete and accurate.Responsibilities:Receive and organise goods-in shipments.Pick, pack and ship goods-out.Restock picking locations.Stock takes.Process customer returns.Prepare product pallets for shipment or storage.Inspect products for damage and defects and advise the manager of such items.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Other duties as assigned by manager.Requirements:Read, write and speak English.To be able to work well on your own or with others.Be meticulous in your work.Confident IT skills.Positive character and flexible attitude.Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.Benefits:Company Pension£50 on your BirthdayCompany SocialsEmployee DiscountsFree on site parkingJob Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: From £10.50 per hourBenefits:Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsSupplemental pay types:Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate: Sunbury on Thames: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
