Job description
We are currently looking for a Stores/Warehouse Person.Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, Brick Kiln Composites is a leading manufacturer of composite components for various Formula One teams, high-end automotive designers and innovative industry disrupters. With ISO 9001:2015 accreditation we support and deliver for our clients by exceeding the highest industry standards.The Ideal candidate will:Have proven experience in warehouse and stock managementBe diligent and have good attention to detail.Possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.Have a strong level of drive and commitment, and be able to influence and motivate colleagues in stock management and control.Your responsibilities will include:Carry out accurate stock taking and reconciliation at the end of month and financial period.Booking in and out consumable stock and customer BoM, ensuring work orders are complete and closed down accurately.Organising van and courier bookings to support the production schedule.Liaising with the Production Office and Main Clean Room Supervisor to order raw material and BoM.Raise requisitions for consumable and standard parts where required.Fork-Lift driving as required (training can be provided for the suitable candidate)Movement of stock from Main Stores to ancillary holding locations as required.Control of material and part expiration dates, including out-life for raw materials.Picking, packing and creating delivery notes for customers and sub-contract suppliers as required.You will also, on occasion, be expected to help meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality and accuracy. This may require flexibility in your working hours. Overtime is paid at 1.5x your hourly pay, with 2.0x on applicable Sundays and Public Holidays.Experience and Qualifications:Experience in stock control, customer-relation management, and forecasting would be highly desirable and should be highlighted in any application or interview.Likewise, any applicant with a valid forklift licence should highlight this during the application stage.Brick Kiln Composites seeks applications from individuals across a wide range of industries and sectors, and values the experience that can be brought to the role by those from outside the composite industry.
