The Company Our company is a well-established manufacturer to support their growth they need a Warehouse Operative. This will initially be on a 9-month fixed term contract with potential to become permanent thereafter. Job Specification The Role Some minor revamp of the warehouse office area. Manual handling. Items being received and sent. Reorganisation of warehouse offices and goods in/out areas. Accepting deliveries of goods from internal/external suppliers. Following the booking in and notification of receipt process. Despatch of items following pre-determined processes from internal departments, customers, regional staff and overseas departments. Maintaining an efficient, clean and tidy environment, complying with H and S regulations. Handling of returned goods. Local product handling, storage and logistic coordination. Dangerous goods shipments (following training). Waste management (in line with regulations) of local waste stored in warehouse. 37 hours a week start and finish times negotiable between 08:00 to 08:30 with finish between 16:00 and 17:00 depending on length of lunch break. The Person Experience in a warehouse role is essential. Happy to work on a fixed term. Literate with good attention to detail. Good organisational skills. IT literate. Willing to learn. Reliable. FLT experience / licence beneficial.
